Myers Park Makeover!

This home in the Myers Park area of Charlotte, NC has been getting a face lift!  An addition began a couple of years ago under the previous homeowners and the current homeowners purchased the home and had NAVMAK Enterprises, LLC complete the process!

This amazing 3600 sqft transformation took place Spring/Summer 2010.

Mama Pat’s Chicken and Leek Couscous

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups chicken broth

1 tbsp unsalted butter

1/4 cup golden raisins (couple of handfuls chopped)

1 1/2 cups plain couscous

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (swirl around twice in the pan with the spoon)

1 1/2 lb chicken tenders, cut into bite size pieces

salt and pepper to taste

2 medium leeks/or 1 large

1 cup dry white wine (about 1/3 bottle)

About 1 handful flat leaf parsley, chopped
