About NAVMAK owner

NavMak Enterprises is a woman owned, veteran owned company. Kara Cozier, one of NavMak’s original co-founders, was born and raised in Massachusetts, learning about remodeling and new construction from her father. After graduating from the University of Minnesota—Twin Cities in the ROTC program she became a Commissioned Officer in the US Navy. Kara spent 6 years on active duty with sea tours onboard the USS O’Bannon (DD 987) and the USS Gettysburg (CG 64) and shore duty at the Military Entrance Processing Station in Portland, ME. Upon honorable discharge from the Navy she and her husband took up residence in Waxhaw, NC where she worked as a Production Supervisor for Ryan Homes. After taking some time off for the birth of their twin daughters, she decided to venture out on her own and co-founded NavMak Enterprises. Kara is an active member of the community and supports many local businesses, farms, and organizations to include Union County Mommies, Charlotte Mothers of Multiples, Creekside Acres, and the Specialty Farmer. She loves outdoors activities and is currently enjoying her latest physical challenges at S3 Endurance Crossfit Ballantyne which pairs well with her advocacy for healthy foods and natural living.
